Virginia is currently a sophomore at USF majoring in Microbiology.  She is broadly interested in ecology and agriculture.  Virginia is currently developing a project on the effects of environmental contaminants on the maternal transfer of symbiotic bacteria in frogs.  She hopes to be able to apply her research experience to a career in agricultural or animal behavior research.
