About Mahima
She/Her/Hers
Mahima is a junior at the University of Connecticut majoring in Molecular and Cell Biology and minoring in Spanish. She is the Secretary of UConn ESA SEEDS and the Public Relations and Membership Coordinator of the UConn Pre-Medical Society. Her research interests include studying the effects of climate change on the planet and ways to reverse them. She is a member of Dr. Sarah Knutie's lab where she focuses on the Nest Parasite Community Science Project. In the lab, Mahima quantifies parasite abundance in bird nests from Tree Swallows and Eastern Bluebirds. In her free time, she enjoys listening to music and exercising. |
